Our lemonade scones recipe is wonderfully simple, making it perfect not just for baking novices but also for quickly preparing something for afternoon tea when unexpected guests arrive.
This easy lemonade scones recipe calls for 3 simple ingredients that people have most likely in their kitchen cupboards or fridge: a can of lemonade, a bottle of heavy cream, and self-raising (self-rising) flour.
By the way, if you don’t have self-raising flour, add 1 teaspoon of baking powder to one cup of all-purpose flour.

How To Make The Lemonade Scones In 5 Simple Steps
What is not to love about these scrumptious lemonade scones? They are ready in no time and everyone will love them.
Step 1
Put all the ingredients in one bowl. The great part is, that you’ll only need to measure the self-raising flour, four cups of it. So, there is no need for a kitchen scale.
Step 2
Mix the ingredients by using a knife until they are just combined. You don’t want to overmix the dough. The dough will be quite sticky which is normal.
Step 3
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently spread it out using your fingertips. The dough should be around 2 inches thick.
Tip: When handling the dough, lightly dust the dough with flour to spread and prevent it from sticking to your hands.
Step 4
I am using a cookie cutter to cut the dough into shape. Alternatively, you can cut rectangle shapes with a sharp knife.
The Final Step
Arrange the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Optionally, brush them with milk before baking to achieve a golden brown finish.
Bake the scones in the oven for approximately 15 minutes. Serve the scones while they are still warm.
